Sage’s Blog

I am writing this blog post because my dad told me to or I can’t use the computer. I am 12 years old and I am in 7th grade. I have two dogs still, but i only have two cats now because one died a few months ago. The teachers now give a lot more assignments than in 6th grade. They give us projects and reports that are due in two weeks.

I have four teachers instead of two now and all of them give us a lot of work. We have lockers but I hardly use mine because I carry all by books in by back pack, because there is usually homework assigned for all the classes everyday. I just got out of school and I am in winter break, but it is only for two weeks, and before it was more than that.

I am lately into this TV show called “Kyle xy”, and this TV show is really interesting. I am really into this online game right now called “operation 7″ and this game is a FPS game (first person shooter). It is really fun and I have tried to get my friends to play it, but it does not work on their computers for some reason. Which kind of sucks because I am always playing with random people around the world instead of my friends. Christmas was good this year. I went to my friend’s Christmas party but the party did not start until 6 o’clock and me and my friend had to leave at six. I just got a new skate board yesterday and that was my christmas present.

School ended a few weeks ago. On the last day we had to clean out all our things from our locker, so I have a bunch of binders full of paper. This time I have to got to summer school so it won’t be too boring this summer. The bad part of this summer vacation is that I can’t go to America because my aunt, uncle and grandma are coming.The only problem is that I don’t know what to do after summer school.

This past year I have began to have new hobbies. I don’t do any organized sports, but I enjoy skateboarding. It’s something I do on my spare time. I have been skating for almost a year now, but I sometimes can’t land the simplest of tricks. I have gotten in summer vacation so I have a lot of time to skate.

I have also got interested in a  book series called goosebumps. I had the books for a long time, but I never opened them. At the last minute I had to take an AR test(A test you have to read a book and take a short test on it). I already took tests on my favorite books, so I went in my bookshelf and grabbed a goosebumps book and began to enjoy it. I like it because it has a suspense to every chapter and makes you want to keep reading

I have gotten interested in a TV show called Heroes.  I started to watch it at one of my friends house and began to like it. I began to rent them at a video store called Tsutaya. The story is basically about the lives of people with super powers who are not superheroes. The end of every episode make you want to watch the next one.

Hello everyone, I just came back from the United States. I was planing on going on this trip for such a long time. When I went I had to go to Taiwan. In Taiwan, there was a free tour for foreigners.

I have to admit that tour was pretty good for a free tour. I got to the tallest tower in the worldand some other temple that I don’t the name of. Then I went on the plane. But there were no portable TV’s, so I just slept through the whole flight.

When we got to San Francisco it was freezing.

It was like winter in Okinawa. Then we went to get a rental car, and we went to my grandma’s house. We stayed there for a few days, but the best part is I got to steal someone’s internet.

The day before I went to LA, I stayed at my aunt Liz and uncle Bill’s house. When we went to go get pizza me and my aunt played air hockey. As well as  know I was the winner. The next day we went again and there was a Mexican b-day party going on, and once again i beat her again.

The next morning we went to L.A. Wow that was a longgg drive, but eventually we got there. At my aunt Mary’s house, I got to meet all my cousins. Me and my cousins Maya and Makeila went to Knott’s Soak City U.S.A.

A few days later we went to the beach and tried boogie boarding but I did a face plant every time.

The next day i went to Six Flags. Wow that was like roller coaster heaven. When I got home my cousin Eric was there. The next day we went to go watch G-Force in 3-D. And that is pretty much all i did in L.A. When we got back to San Francisco, we stayed there for 2 more days then we left and came back to Okinawa.

I just went to Osaka for my 5th grade trip. I went to some temples that I really had no interest in, but two things caught my eye.

1. Eiga mura
2. Universal Studios

Eiga mura was the place were they filmed a lot of movies. I learn how to perform special effects to a film. Like how to make it look like  there’s a strong wind or make it look like its raining and etc. A lot of people were acting out the thing where they act like you throw a knife and the other guy gets stabbed. To me that was my favorite graphic. They also had a ninja show were these guys start doing front and back flips on the stage. That was really cool.

Then my other favorite part was Universal Studios. The best part was the roller coaster  Hollywood Dreams. The thing I liked about it was that you can select a song and listen to that song during the ride. I wanted to find the song I selected but I couldn’t listen to the lyrics, because the person next to me was shouting too much.

I would like to write more about my memories  of universal studious but I have been writing too much so good bye.

This might be a little out-dated but I just graduated from 5th grade. I had to give a speech, and this is my favorite part of the speech.

My favorite elementary  memory

Hello everybody I would like to share with you some of my favorite elementary memories. My favorite memory was fifth grade kite day. It was awesome because I had a nickname. A lot of you might know this nickname, but for everyone who does not know it’s the Kite Killer. They called me the kite killer because if a kite came my way I would destroy the kite that came my way. My apologies to the people whose kites I have destroyed.

This is sooo awesome. I’m finally out of my desk and free from teachers, and the best part is NO summer school for me! I hope everyone who is reading this will have a great summer.

A few weeks ago I went to Australia and climbed the Sydney harbor bridge with my dad, but that’s not all I did there: I’ve also gone to the Cairns zoo and I did some cable skiing too.
